Company Growth
In 1999, Winchester Metals implemented a fully-integrated software system that handled all areas of business operations, ushering in a new era of improved efficiency and customer service. Following the addition of 12,500 square feet of manufacturing space in 2002, the company further upgraded its software systems in 2013. In Winchester Metals 40th year (2015), it added a TRUMPF TruLaser 1030, an acquisition that represented the company's largest capital investment in a single piece of equipment in its history, paving the way to enter the world of steel laser cutting. In 2016, Winchester Metals implemented a new Lincoln Automate 35HS Robotic Welding System. Most recently, in 2017, Winchester Metals announced it would invest $870,000 to add laser/punch combination equipment, a third shift, and 17 new jobs. Winchester Metals continues to reinvest in its company to keep up with emerging technology and enhance offerings to its customers.

The Watchman Stove, is a unique outdoor cooking unit created by designer Kirk Salmons and manufactured and marketed by Winchester Metals in Frederick County, VA. This stove is made to last from durable, heavy materials, while being incredibly efficient and simple to use. No electricity, gases, burners, igniters, etc to go bad or fail, simply use wood or charcoal and you’re all set. At least one has been sold to more than 20 states and international inquiries are picking up.
